Delete your account

You can delete your UghSongs account at any time. You do not need the app installed.

In the app

Open the You tab, choose Account, then Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm. The account and its content are removed straight away and you are signed out.

By email

Write to support@ughsongs.com from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We action requests within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

Your login and profile
Events, venues and bands
Songs, versions, sources and uploaded audio
Lyrics, screenshots, notes and practice history
Notification settings and registered devices

What is kept, and for how long

A minimal record that a deletion happened is kept for up to 12 months so we can answer audit and legal questions. Support messages you sent are kept for up to 12 months. Store purchases are held by Apple or Google and are managed in your store account, not here. Backups roll off within 30 days.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings first, otherwise billing continues.
